- —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Notification) (Amendment) Regulations 2026. (2) These Regulations come into force at 6.00 p.m. on 18th May 2026. (3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales and apply in relation to England only.

- In Schedule 1 to the Health Protection (Notification) Regulations 2010( 2 ), at the appropriate alphabetical place insert— 'Hantavirus disease, including hantavirus pulmonary or cardiopulmonary syndrome and haemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome'.
