The Charges for Residues Surveillance (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2026

Increased the statutory fees for monitoring chemical residues in livestock and animal products across England starting June 2026.

Citation, commencement, extent and application

—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Charges for Residues Surveillance (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2026 and come into force on 1st June 2026.

—(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales but apply in relation to England only.

This section establishes the official name of the regulations and sets the start date for the new fee structure as 1 June 2026.

Amendments to the Charges for Residues Surveillance Regulations 2006

—(1) The Charges for Residues Surveillance Regulations 2006 are amended as follows.

—(2) In regulation 3 (liability for and recovery of charges for residues surveillance)—

(a) in paragraph (1)(a)—

(i) for '1st October 2024' substitute '1st June 2026', and

(ii) for '2025' substitute '2027'; and

(b) in paragraph (1)(b), for '2025' substitute '2027'.

—(3) For Schedule 1 substitute—
